Identity Wallets

Like a digital purse, identity wallets allow you to store identity documents, like ID cards, driver licenses, social security details, all in one place on your smartphone. Most importantly, identity wallets allow you to reuse previously verified identities.

eIDAS 2.0

In June 2021, the European Commission presented a first version of the eIDAS 2.0 regulation. While still a draft, eIDAS 2.0 will introduce a standard for identity wallets and pave the way for the next generation of digital identity in Europe.

Self-sovereign identity (SSI)

The concept of SSI has been existing for years, with many of them using Blockchain technology. However, the problem most SSI concepts have in common is the lack of legal acceptance. Identity wallets are here to change that.

Quality Trust Service Provider (QTSP)

A QTSP is certified by its national supervisory body to provide qualified trust service (QTS) in accordance with eIDAS 2.0, such as the issuing of a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) or saving identity attributes to an identity wallet.
